Your matchmaker explains…
At the start of your shift, you begin the day with a cup of coffee in the shack and get to work with your team. As a cable groundworker, you play a crucial role in the project. You ensure that the street is broken open for the installers so they can pull the cables through the ground. Once this is done, you close the trench and make sure the street looks tidy again. Thanks to you, residents can once again use water, electricity, and gas.
You perform various groundworks, such as digging construction pits with a shovel and excavator, handling cables/pipes, and supporting the lead installer. You work in a team of 4 to 6 colleagues, under the supervision of experienced supervisors and coordinators. Together, you ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
